Delta Community Supports, Inc. is a private non-profit agency that provides support services to people with developmental disabilities.  We are currently seeking individuals who would like to fill various full and part-time Direct Support Professional positions in Atlantic, Cumberland, Middlesex, Morris, and Somerset Counties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To support individuals as needed in daily living activities such as personal and health management, including medical appointments, communication, self-advocacy, realizing personal and educational goals, meal planning and preparation, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, basic home maintenance and safety, recreation, home management, financial management and decision making.  Promote friendships and relationships through typical community activities.  Participate in the development of Individual Habilitation Plans and in support circle meetings as needed.  Communicate with individuals' families and day and employment program personnel as assigned by supervisor.  EOE
 
­­­­REQUIREMENTS:  Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a valid driver’s license in the state of residence for 36 months with a satisfactory driving record.  Must also be able to complete a criminal background check, physical exam, drug screen, & Mantoux (TB) test.
